For as long as she can remember, Stephanie has always had a special place in heart for children and knew her future would involve working with them. In the summer of 1998, she surrendered to His call and gave herself over to full-time christian ministry, not truly knowing what that might bring. That same summer she, along with her now husband, Jason, began working with the youth ministry here at Community Baptist Church.

    Over the years, working with a variety of different ages, God has opened her eyes to see the value each child brings to His kingdom. We are never too young or too broken to be used by Him. As a broken Jesus girl, Stephanie is learning that true perfection will only come on the other side of eternity. Trusting that there will come a day when she will finally get it right. Until then, she is clinging to the fact that in the midst of ALL her failures, not only is Jesus with her, but He is scooping her up, carrying her through and cheering her on.

    With a heart that desires to be transparent and a spirit that desires to be genuine, Stephanie is taking these precious souls by the hand, and to the best of her ability she is guiding each child as they learn who Jesus is and encouraging them to embrace His call on their lives.
